How do we install the panels?
The panels are installed with the fixing brackets supplied and a good quality grad adhesive. Please see our sperate page on installation. We recommend the grad adhesive is applied amply to the back of the panels covering the full surface of the panel. Conditions will vary from site to site and it will be the responsibility of your fitter to conduct a site survey and establish the most appropriate installation methods.
What if my wall is higher than 2.4m?
We offer panels in 2.4m and your wall is over 2.4m tall you can either:
- Stack two panels on top of each other to create a taller panel.
- Leave a gap in between the top of the panel and the ceiling
- Place the panel on top of skirting boards to increase the height
Can I install panels near a radiator, cooker or fireplace?
Our panels may be installed near to, but not in direct contact with heat sources. We recommend that they installed a minimum of 45cm away from the heat source. Please be aware that extreme variations in temperature will cause the panels to naturally expand and contract. We recommend installing panels in areas that maintain a temperature between 18 & 28 degrees centigrade. Always acclimatise panels for minimum 3-4 days prior to installation.
Do the panels react to heat and humidity?
Please be aware that extreme variations in temperature will cause the panels to naturally expand and contract. We recommend installing panels in areas that maintain a temperature between 18 & 28 degrees centigrade. Always acclimatise panels for minimum 3-4 days prior to installation. In the colder winter months, you may notice a slight gap between the panels, which is a natural occurrence. As temperatures rise, this gap will stabilise and diminish.
What happens if my panels come away from the wall?
If the panels begin to detach from the wall, it's likely due to insufficient adhesive and the impact of extreme temperature or humidity changes causing warping. We're here to provide email support and guidance on how to address this issue.
